WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Our ideal candidate will be able to interpret business requirements and develop technical specifications to contribute to overall deliverables. You will be excited by the design and development of high-end reporting solutions, with a passion for connecting the dots between data and end-user requirements.

If you have any of the following skills or experience, we encourage you to apply:

  • Experience with developing technical BI solutions, preferably Power BI
  • Python/R for data analysis/wrangling (e.g. pandas or tidyverse packages)
  • SQL database management experience/training
  • Data warehousing – including transformation and modelling of data at enterprise scale Visualisation and interaction design experience
  • Experience managing the report development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to development, testing and maintenance
  • Development of reporting solutions technical design documentation

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Tomago, NSW.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are looking for a motivated Data Analyst to support Ampcontrol in harnessing our data to drive informed decision-making. Working within our Digital team as an integral part of our existing analytics and reporting function, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining management dashboards and ad hoc reports for the wider Ampcontrol group. This role will see you use your data analysis skills to drive improvements and efficiencies in our reporting capabilities and contribute to overall data governance for our solutions.
